Vessel Safety Check (VSC)

The Green Bay Sail & Power Squadron conducts courtesy examinations of your boat to verify the presence and compliance of the safety equipment that is required by state and federal regulations.  Our vessel examiners are trained specialists and are members of the United States Power Squadrons.

The Vessel Safety Check is strictly a voluntary audit for the prudent boater.   You are not being boarded by a law-enforcement official and upon the completion of the examination you will receive a written evaluation that you can use for making improvements where you see fit.  Boats that pass the VSC will receive the current year decal to proudly display.
